The bolts the hands fire can be timed as long as they're within line-of-sight so that you can just fly above them, but the bolts and spheres the True Eyes of Cthulhu fire just came down to reaction time for me, as I wasn't really focusing on their source or timing them like I could easily do with the ML himself.Īs for the homing projectiles, they can't ascend like the player can, so with something like the Soaring Insignia it shouldn't be too difficult to travel upwards once you notice that stream of tiny eyes heading towards you. An arena is better built away from Bases so NPCs wont get hurt or killed. I have the RoD but I haven't even really needed to use it.
